The ECB has revealed their playing XI for the first Test match against India, scheduled to be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on January 25.

Veteran pace bowler James Anderson has been left out of the playing XI. Left arm spinner Tom Hartley will be making his debut in test cricket.

Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes (C), Ben Foakes, Rehan Ahmed, Tom Hartley, Mark Wood & Jack Leach.
