The BCCI has announced the squad T20I series for the upcoming tour of Ireland and England & Asian Games to be held in Japan in June, July & September respectively.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has received his maiden call-up to the India squad. Shreyas Iyer has been named as new T20I skipper, with Tilak Varma being named his deputy.
Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who has been rested for the Ireland and England series, will be part of the squad for the Asian Games.
Suryakumar Yadav, who had led India in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup campaign earlier this year, has been dropped fron the squad.

Varun Chakaravarthy will miss the upcoming T20I series against Ireland and england due to foot injury he suffered in the IPL 2026. India will begin that leg with two matches in Ireland before starting a five-match T20I series in England on July 1

Uncapped allrounder Suryansh Shedge has been called up to India’s T20I squad for the series in Ireland and England as replacement for the injured Nitish Kumar Reddy.
