The T20 World Cup has 2 groups ( Group 1 & Group 2) in the main Super 12 event, with eight teams automatically qualifying for the event.
There were also two qualifying groups of eight teams (first round) from which four (Sri Lanka, Netherlands, Ireland and Zimbabwe) advanced to the Super 12.
Super 12 Group 1 features England, Australia, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka & Ireland while Group 2 has India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe & Netherlands

This is the new Ireland cricket T20 World Cup shirt 2022, the uniform to be worn by the Irish cricket team at the T20 World Cup in Australia later this month. The new Irish cricket T20 WC top has been made by O’Neills, with Indian dairy company Amul the official sponsor of this kit.
The team will be captained by Andrew Balbirnie and have the likes of Paul Stirling, George Dockrell and Harry Tector in their squad.
Ireland are in Group B of the first around alongside Scotland, West Indies and Zimbabwe.
The Irish will open their campaign against Zimbabwe at Bellerive Oval in Hobart on 17 October.
