The BCCI has named a 16-member squad for the upcoming T20 internationals against New Zealand starting October 22.
The squad will be led by Shreyas Iyer with Tilak Varma being named his deputy. Veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar returns to the squad after nearly 4 years.
Varun Chakravarthy who was injured during the T20I series against Afghanistan in September and also the one-off game against Japan and the Asian Games returns to the squad.
