RCB vs DC 2024 IPL Attendance 28,806 May 12 M. Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru

An excellent crowd of 28,806 was in attendance at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Delhi Capitals IPL clash on May 12, 2024.

RCB won by 47 runs thanks to contributions from Rajat Patidar (52) and Cameron Green (32)*, that helped his side reach a competitive score of 187/9 in their 20 overs.

In response DC lost half their side for 86, and despite a fighting knock off 57 by stand in skipper Axar Patel, they eventually fell 47 run shot of the target.

Yash Dayal was the pick of the bowlers for RCB with figures of 3/20.

Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar scored fine half centuries as Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 35 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, openers Kohli and Faf Du Plessis got RCB off to a quickfire start. The duo added 48 runs for the first wicket before the latter perished to T Natarajan for 25.

Will Jacks (6) was then cleaned up by Mayank Markande while attempting a sweep shot. Kohli along with Patidar added 65 runs for the third wicket stand before the latter flicked a full toss from Jaydev Unadkat to Abdul Samad at deep square leg for a quickfire 20 ball-50.

The star Indian batter Kohli after reaching his fifty, miscued a slower short of length delivery from Unadkat to Andul Samad for 51. However cameos from Cameron Green (37), Dinesh Karthik (11) and Swapnil Singh (12)* propelled RCB to a challenging total of 206/7 in their 20 overs.

Chasing 207, Will Jacks drew first blood by snaring the prize scalp of Travis Head in the very first over for 1. Abhishek Sharma along with Aiden Markram put on 36 runs for the second wicket stand before the former was dismissed by Yash Dayal for 31.

Swapnil Singh who came in as impact player dismissed both Markram (7) and Klaasen (7) in the fifth over. Shahbaz Ahmed (40) and Pat Cummins (31) provided handy contributions down the order but it wasn’t enough as SRH ended up with 171/8 in their 20 overs, thereby falling 35 run short of the target.

Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru Game 25 April 11 Mumbai Match Report 2024

Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav scored sizzling half centuries as Mumbai Indians thumped Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 7 wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.

After being asked to bat first by MI skipper, Jasprit Bumrah got his side off to a dream start by snaring the price scalp of Virat Kohli (3) caught behind the stumps while attempting a big hit off length delivery.

Debutant Will Jacks then miscued a delivery from Akash Madhwal to Tim David at mid on for 8. Skipper Faf Du Plessis along with Rajat Patidar featured in a 82 run stand for the third wicket stand before the latter gloved a delivery off Gerald Coetzee behind the stumps for a 26 ball-50.

Glenn Maxwell’s poor run with the bat continued as he was trapped leg before wicket by Shreyas Gopal for a duck. Du Plessis along with Dinesh Karthik put on 45 runs for the fifth wicket stand before ace bowler Bumrah struck twice in succession- first by dismissing skipper Du Plessis caught at long on and then trapping Mahipal Lomror for a duck.

The ace Indian speedster then dismissed Saurav Chauhan (9) and Vyshak (0) off consecutive deliveries to complete a well deserved five- fer.

However Dinesh Karthik provided a late flourish in the end by scoring a 23 ball-53 to take RCB to 196/8 in their 20 overs.

Chasing 197, Ishan Kishan along with Rohit Sharma got Mumbai off to a rollicking start. The duo added 101 runs for the opening stand before Akash Deep finally broke the partnership by dismissing Kishan, who miscued a slower bouncer to Virat Kohli at long on for 69.

Rohit then fell to a stunning one handed catch by Topley off Will Jacks for 38. Suryakumar Yadav along with skipper Hardik Pandya added 37 runs for the third wicket before the former scored a 19 ball-52, before perishing to Vijaykumar Vyshak.

Skipper Pandya finished the game in style by launching Akash Deep for a maximum over deep cover to steer Mumbai to an emphatic win.
