India Women have named their 15 member squad for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against Zimbabwe starting October 16.
Smriti Mandhana will begin her tenure as full-time captain of the Indian women’s cricket team with a three-match 2026 T20 series against Zimbabwe at home later this month, with Shafali Veram being named her deputy.
Deepti Sharma has been appointed as the vice captain for the ODI format.
The series will also be Women in Blue first assignment after successfully defending their Asian Games title in Aichi-Nagoya last month.
Former skipper Harmanpreet Kuar who stepped down as captain, will be featuring in both the squads.
Niki Prasad has earned a maiden T20I call-up.
