KKR vs CSK 2023 IPL Attendance 60,442 Eden Gardens Kolkata

An excellent crowd of 60,442 was officially recorded in attendance at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata for the game between the Chennai Super Kings and the Knight Riders on 23 April, 2023.

The crowd figure was shown on television during the early stages of the Kolkata chase.

KKR opted to bowl first, but Chennai smashed 235/4 in their allotted 20 overs, with Devon Conway, Shivam Dube and Ajinkya Rahane all scoring quick fire 50’s. Between them, Rahane and Dube scored over 120 runs in 8.2 overs.

32,921 were in attendance at the MA Chidambaram Stadium two days ago when CSK beat SRH in Chennai.

An official attendance of 32,921 was recorded at the MA Chidambaram (Chepauk) stadium in Chennai as the Super Kings beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets. CSK won the toss and opted to bowl first, and their spinners strangulated SRH in the middle period as the visitors crawled to 134 in their allotted 20 overs.

In reply, Devon Conway’s blistering start helped settle any nerves CSK might have had at the beginning of the chase. He was particularly severe on Marco Jansen and finished unbeaten on 77* (57) as CSK comfortably overhauled the target with 6 balls to spare.

This CSK v SRH crowd at IPL 2023 was better than the 31,525 who turned up at the same venue for CSK v RR a few days ago.

CSK vs RR IPL 2023 Attendance 31,525 Chepauk Chennai April 12 | Rajasthan win by three runs

An official crowd of 31,525 was present at the MA Chidambaram (Chepauk) stadium in Chennai for the 2023 IPL game between CSK and Rajasthan Royals on 12 April, 2023. The crowd attendance was officially announced on television during the game (see pic below)

CSK needed forty runs off the last two overs chasing 176 on a tricky track, but a flurry of sixes off Jason Holder and Sandeep Sharma saw the equation being reduced to 7 off the final three deliveries. Sharma however held his nerve at the end, bowling a couple of crucial yorkers, and RR ran out winners by three runs.

The attendance however was lower than the 37,000 present in Hyderabad for SRH vs RR a few days ago.
