Sanju Samson dragged at a delivery from Beuran Hendricks on to his stumps for 12, while Rinku Singh (17 off 14) was smartly stumped off Keshav Maharaj.

Arshdeep Singh scored a handy 17 ball-18, but the rest of the lower order could not offer much resistance as the hosts were bowled out for 211 in 46.2 overs.

In response, Reeza Hendricks and de Zorzi got South Africa off to a magnificent start. The pair added 130 runs for the opening stand before the former top-edged a pull off Arshdeep Singh to Mukesh Kumar at deep backward square leg for 52.

Zorzi along with Rassie van der Dussen added 76 runs for the second wicket stand before the latter was caught behind the stumps off Rinku Singh just close to the target for 36.
