India T20 Squad vs Bangladesh 2024 | Mayank Yadav receives maiden call-up

The BCCI has announced the 15 member squad for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh beginning October 6.

Fast bowler Mayank Yadav has received a maiden call up. The squad will be captained by Suryakumar Yadav, Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy return to the side after missing the Sri Lanka T20Is.

The likes of Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel and Mohammed Siraj have been rested for the series.

All rounder Nitish Reddy and Harshit Rana are the other uncapped players that are part of the set up.

The three T20Is will be played in Gwalior, Delhi and Hyderabad on October 6, 9 and 12 respectively.

Shivam Dube has been ruled out of the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh due to back injury and will be replaced by Tilak Varma.

    WTC Standings after India vs Bangladesh & Sri Lanka vs New Zealand First Test 2024

    Here is the World Test Championship table- the WTC standings after the India v Bangladesh and Sri Lanka v New Zealand first tests. Both matches were won by the home team.

    India and Australia are in the top 2 positions currently and Sri Lanka have risen to third after beating the Black Caps in Galle.

    India comfortably beat Bangladesh in the first test in Chennai and will again be strong favourites ahead of the second test in Kanpur.
