Australia have released their new 2022/23 T20 cricket jersey ahead of the ahead of the World Cup that they will host next month.
The defending champions, who beat New Zealand in the 2021 final in the UAE, will wear anĀ Indigenous themedĀ kit for the first time for this year’s World Cup.
The new Aussie T20 World Cup kit has been designed by Aunty Fiona Clarke and Courtney Hagen, with Asics serving as the jersey manufacturers. The new shirt features black sleeves, with green and gold (the traditional Aus colours) on the front.
Australia are in Group 1 of the Super 12 alongside Afghanistan, England & New Zealand and two yet to be decided qualifiers.
Aaron Finch’s men will kickstart their campaign against New Zealand on 22 October at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
