Team India have announced the 17 man squad for fifth rescheduled Test match against England, which will be played in Edgbaston from July 1-5.
The 34 year old Cheteshwar Pujara makes a come back following a magnificent performance for Sussex in County Championship 2022.
Former vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, who suffered a hamstring injury in Kolkata Knight Riders’ final match misses out.
Rishabh Pant and KS Bharat will be the two wicketkeepers for the series. All rounder Ravindra Jadeja who had a rib injury on the ongoing IPL season, is also part of a 17-man touring party led by Rohit Sharma.
The likes of Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav, Shardul Thakur, Prasidh Krishna, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami will be leading the pace attack.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who were all rested for the home T20I series against South Africa, will be in Test action in Birmingham.
