Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan scored unbeaten half-centuries as Pakistan thumped India by 10 wickets in Dubai on Sunday.
After being sent into bat by Pakistan skipper, Shaheen Shah Afridi pegged the Indians back with wickets of both Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.
Suryakumar Yadav’s poor run with the bat continued as he perished to a brilliant catch by Rizwan behind the stumps off Hasan Ali for 11.
The pair of Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant stabilized the innings with a valuable 53 run stand for the fourth wicket before the latter was dismissed by a fine caught and bowled by Shadab Khan for 39.
Kohli scored a fine 57 off just 49 balls before becoming Afridi’s third victim.
The likes of Ravindra Jadeja (13) and Hardik Pandya (11) failed to provide a late flourish, as the Men in Blue ended up with 151/7 in their allotted 20 overs.
Shaheen Afridi was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/31, while Hasan Ali claimed 2 wickets.
Chasing 152, skipper Babar Azam along with Rizwan put on an unbeaten 152 run stand for the opening wicket to take Pakistan to a comprehensive 10 wicket win over India.
