Maheesh Theekshana claimed 3/25 as Sri Lanka defeated Namibia by 7 seven wickets at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
After being asked to bat first by Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka, Namibia lost both Stephan Baard and Zane Green cheaply.
The pair of Craig Williams along with Gerhard Erasmus added 39 runs for the third wicket before the latter fell to Lahiru Kumara for 20.
Williams was trapped in front by Hasaranga googly for 29.
Chamika Karunaratne then got into the act by trapping David Wiese leg before wicket as Namibia were reduced to 79/5.
The lower order failed to put up any resistance as they were bowled out for a paltry total of 96 in 19.3 overs.
Maheesh Theekshana ended up with figures of 3/25, while Wanidu Hasaranga and Lahiru Kumara claimed 2 wickets each.
Chasing 97, Sri Lanka started disastrously by losing Pathum Nissanka (5), Kusal Perera (11) and Dinesh Chandimal (5) early on in the chase.
However Avishka Fernando and Bhanuka Rajapaksa put on an unbeaten 74 run partnership to power Sri Lanka to a comprehensive seven wicket win.
Maheesh Theekshana was declared the Man of the Match.
