New Black Caps T20 Jersey 2022-2023 | NZ Cricket T20 Shirt 2022-23 Canterbury ANZ
This is the New Zealand T20 cricket kit 2022/23, the Black Caps’ new T20 jersey that will be worn for the 22/23 season, beginning their fixtures against India this month (November 2022). The new NZ T20 shirt has been made by Canterbury and was officially unveiled on November 15, 2022.
New Zealand reached the semi-finals of the recently concluded T20 World Cup (they wore a different uniform for that event), but lost to Pakistan in the last four.

Pakistan vs England MCG Attendance 80,462 2022 T20 World Cup Final Crowd November 13
A crowd of 80,462 were present at the MCG for the 2022 T20 World Cup final between Pakistan and England on November 13, 2022 (Sunday). It was however a lower crowd than the 90,293 fans who were in attendance for India vs Pakistan and 82,507 for India vs Zimbabwe earlier in the tournament in the group stages. It was also a lower attendance than the 86,174 crowd who turned up for the Australia vs India T20 Womens World Cup final at this venue two years ago.
It was also a smaller crowd than the 87,182 who watched the 1992 50 over World Cup final between these two very teams (Pak v Eng) at the G.
England won the final by beating Pakistan.
India vs England Adelaide Attendance 40,094 Semi Final 2022 T20 World Cup November 10 Match Report
England set up a mouth watering final clash against Pakistan after they beat India by ten wickets in front of a 40,094 strong crowd at the Adelaide Oval. The two teams had competed in a seven game T20 series back in Pakistan before the World Cup, with England winning 4-3, and this T20 WC final on Sunday is essentially a repeat of the 1992 WC final at the same venue (Imran Khan’s side won that day). Pakistan had beaten NZ in front of 36,443 fans at the SCG yesterday in the first SF.
India’s crowds in Australia have been excellent through the WC (see all Indian game attendances at T20 WC 2022), and this one was no different- the 40,094 fans in attendance was a record for the Adelaide Oval in this tournament.
The last team to win a T20 World Cup knockout game (not affected by rain/DLS) were the West Indies back in 2012, and England skipper, Jos Buttler, perhaps aware of that fact, opted to put India in after winning the toss.
The Men in Blue lost KL Rahul early, and skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli opted to consolidate rather than attack in the early stages, which meant India crawling to 60 odd after the first ten overs. That became 100/3 after 15 overs, but Hardik Pandya’s blitzkrieg at the end saw India score 68 off the final five, and they finished at 168/6 in their allotted 20 overs. The parallels to 1992 keep on increasing, and just as it had happened in that Oceania hosted World Cup, Pakistan beat New Zealand in the first semi-final today at the SCG in front of a crowd of 36,443 to book their spot in Sunday’s final in Melbourne. They will meet either England (whom they beat in the 1992 final at the MCG) or arch rivals India, who beat them at the same venue three weeks ago in the group stages in front of a 90,293 strong crowd.
The 36,443 fans in attendance for this Pakistan v Black Caps SF was also a record crowd for Sydney at this tournament, beating the 36,426 who had turned up for India against the Netherlands. It also comfortably bettered the 30,351 who watched Pakistan beat South Africa at this ground last week.
It was a comfortable win for Pakistan. New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat, but never quite got going. Shaheen Afridi, who has looked more and more like his past self as this tournament has gone on, trapped the dangerous Finn Allen LBW in the first over. A lovely piece of fielding from Shadab Khan accounted for Devon Conway and SCG centurion Glenn Phillips made only 6 before he gave an easy return catch to Mohammed Nawaz.
