Jos Buttler scored a brilliant unbeaten 107 as Rajasthan Royals defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 2 wickets in a thriller at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Tuesday.

Sunil Narine along with Angkrish Raghuvanshi added 85 runs for the second wicket stand before the latter upper cut a short ball from Kuldeep Sen to Ravi Ashwin at deep third man.
Sunil Narine brought up his hundred off just 49 deliveries by smashing Yuzvendra Chahal for 2 sixes and 2 fours.
However Trent Boult finally dismissed the star West Indies spinner with a brilliant yorker for a 56 ball-109. His innings comprised off 13 fours and 6 sixes.
Rinku Singh provided the final touches by scoring a quickfire unbeaten 9 ball-20 to take Knight Riders to a mammoth 223/6 in their alloted 20 overs.
Chasing 224, Rajasthan Royals lost Yashasvi Jaiswal (19) early, caught at slip by Venkatesh Iyer off Vaibhav Arora. Skipper Sanju Samson then mistimed a delivery from Harshit Rana to Narine at mid on who took a fine catch.
The pair of Buttler along with Riyan Parag added 50 runs for the third wicket stand before the latter was caught at deep midwicket by Russell off Harshit Rana for a 14 ball-34.
Royals lost a bit of momentum with wickets of Dhruv Jurel , Ravichandran Ashwin and Shimron Hetmyer as they slumped to 121/6. Buttler along with Rovman Powell added 57 runs for the seventh wicket stand to provide a glimmer of hope. However Narine provided a much needed breakthrough by trapping Powell leg before wicket for 26.
The English wicket keeper scored an unbeaten 107 runs from just 60 balls, which included 9 fours and 6 sixes, to take his team to a memorable win.
