Travis Head scored a fantastic hundred in front of 23,698 crowd as Australia took firm grip at the end of Day 2 of the opening test against West Indies at Adelaide Oval on Thursday.
Head featured in a 46-run partnership with Usman Khawaja (45) for the fourth wicket, before the latter fell to Justin Greaves.
Alex Carey (15) and Mitchell Starc (10) fell soon after, but Head held in nerve at the end by scoring a valuable hundred.
The left hander was finally dismissed by Alzarri Joseph for 119. The hosts were eventually bowled out for 283, with an overall lead of 95.
In response, West Indies were reduced to 93/6 in their second innings with Hazlewood claiming 4 wickets.
