The BCCI has named their 15 member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Afghanistan beginning later this month.
The squad will be captained by Shreyas Iyer. Star bowler Jasprit Bumrah, Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar and Varun Chakaravarthy have been picked subject to fitness.
The likes of Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel are back in the squad after being rested from the recently concluded T20I series in Zimbabwe which was held in July.
The first of the three T20 internationals will be take place on September 13, 15 and 17 respectively.
