Dimuth Karunaratne’s fantastic hundred went in vain as Sri Lanka went down by 238 runs in the pink-ball Test against India in Bengaluru.

The 33 year old Karunaratne reached his well deserved century by flicking Bumrah for a boundary. However the Mumbai Indians speedster cleaned him up while attempted a drive for a fantastic 107. His knock came off 174 balls with 15 fours.

The last 3 wickets fell in a space of 4 runs as Sri Lanka were dismissed for 208.

With this win, the hosts completed a clean sweep.

Shreyas Iyer was declared the Man of the Match, while Rishabh Pant was declared the Player of the series.
