India vs England Second T-20 Match Report-2018

Alex Hales unbeaten knock of 58 runs helped England to a five-wicket win over India in the second T20I in Cardiff.

The win levelled the three-match series 1-1 with the third and final T20 to be played on Sunday.

Hales was the backbone of the England innings, helping them chase the target of 149 runs with two balls to spare.

After being sent into bat by Eion Morgan, India got off to a bad start as they lost Rohit, Dhawan and Rahul early.

Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina shared a partnership of 57 runs for the fourth wicket to bring India back on track.

MS Dhoni’s blitz and Hardik Pandya’s cameo helped their team get past 140 run mark.

England restricted India to 148/5 with captain Virat Kohli top scoring with 47 runs.

Chasing a modest 149, England were rocked early in their chase before Alex Hales made a magnificent unbeaten 58 to help England beat India by five wickets to level the three-match series 1-1.

For India, spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal struggled to repeat their heroics from the Manchester game.
