First IPL Fifty 2018- Shubman Gill

India’s U-19 star and Kolkata Knight Riders Shubman Gill scored his maiden IPL Fifty to take KKR over the victory line against Chennai Super Kings at Eden Gardens on Thursday.

Gill, who played a key role in India’s triumph at the U-19 World Cup in New Zealand earlier this year, reached his fifty off 32 balls and became the fourth youngest to score an IPL fifty.

His unbeaten knock of 57 runs comprised of six fours and two sixes.

He was promoted to the number four slot after Nitish Rana had to sit out due to injury.
