Proteas Test Squad for India Tour 2021-2022 | Duanne Olivier recalled

The Proteas test squad to face India in three tests across December 2021 and January 2022 has been officially named today, with the selectors announcing a 21 man roster that sees a recall for Duanne Olivier. The lanky pacer, who last played for South Africa back in 2019, left the country on a Kolpak deal but has returned due to Brexit and his figures in the domestic four day competition have seen the selectors recall him for his marquee tour.

First time call ups in this SA test squad against India include Sisanda Magala and Ryan Rickelton, both of whom have been capped by the Proteas at T20 level.

There are two left arm pacers in the squad in the form of Beuran Hendricks and Marco Jansen.
