Indian women’s captain Mithali Raj fell for a golden duck for the first time in her career off the first ball against South Africa at Leicester on Saturday. She was dismissed by Dane van Niekerk. India failed to overhaul South Africa’s score of 273 and was dismissed for 158 Runs. South Africa ended up winning the match by 115 Runs. Indian captain and star batsman Virat Kohli overtook Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most hundreds in chases during the fifth and final One-Day International against West Indies in Jamaica. Fastest to score 8000 Runs in ICC Champions Trophy- Virat Kohli

Indian captain Virat Kohli become the quickest batsman to 8000 runs in one-day international cricket, beating AB de Villiers’ mark in seven fewer innings. Kohli crossed the 8000-run mark in his 175th innings, during the course of his unbeaten 96 off 78 deliveries against Bangladesh in Thursday’s ICC Champions Trophy semi-final in Birmingham. Fastest Batsman to score 1000 Runs in ICC One Day Tournaments- Shikhar Dhawan

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan continued his good form in the ICC Champions Trophy when he smashed yet another half-century against South Africa during India’s third Group B match. Dhawan scored 78 runs during India’s run chase of 192 runs and also became the fastest batsman to score 1000 runs in ICC ODI tournaments. The left-handed batsman achieved this feat in just 16 innings and broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record who achieved it in 18 innings.
