Defending Champions Australia have announced their squad for the upcoming T20 Women’s T20 World Cup scheduled to be held in UAE in October.
The squad will be captained by Alyssa Healy with with all-rounder Tahlia McGrath being named her deputy. Left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen has been axed from this marquee event.
Sophie Molineux and Grace Harris who were not part of The Hundred due to injuries have been included in the squad.
The ICC has released the fixtures of the ninth edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup scheduled to be held in UAE from October 3 to October 20 .
The first match will be played between Bangladesh v Scotland on October 3, followed it up between Pakistan v Sri Lanka.

India have released their Women’s fixtures for the upcoming T20 World Cup scheduled to be held in UAE.
The event which was supposed to take place in Bangladesh has been shifted to United Arab Emirates. The Marquee event will run from October 3 to 20.
The Men in Blue are in Group A alongside Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They will play their opening fixture on October 4 against New Zealand in Dubai.
The side will be lead by Harmanpreet Kaur.
Pakistan Women have named their 15 member squad for the upcoming T20 world cup 2024 scheduled to be held in UAE in October.
The squad will be led by Fatima Sana. Sadaf Shamas who was a part of the 2023 edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 in South Africa, returns to the squad in place of Najiha Alvi.
The side features the likes of Aliya Riaz, Muneeba Ali, Nashra Sandhu, Omaima Sohail and Sadia Iqbal in their set up.
Pakistan Women are in Group A alongside Australia, India, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

India Women have announced their 15 member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 scheduled to be held in UAE in United Arab Emirates.
The squad will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur with Smriti Mandhana being named her deputy. They have the likes of Deepti Sharma, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh in their set up.
India are in Group A alongside Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka respectively. They will open their campaign against New Zealand in Dubai on October 4.

The ICC have released the fixtures for the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 scheduled to be held in Malaysia from January 18 to February 2, 2025.
