Highest Score in Powerplay in IPL 2017-Kolkata Knight Riders

Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine propelled Kolkata Knight Riders to the highest ever powerplay score in Indian Premier League history against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 7th May 2017. The Opening duo added 105 runs from the first 6 overs and thus enabled their team to overtake the previous record of 100 runs which was done by Chennai Super Kings in the 2014 edition. First Batsman to score 10,000 Runs in T-20- Chris Gayle

West Indies batsman Chris Gayle become the first batsman to reach the landmark of 10,000 runs in Twenty20 cricket. The big-hitting West Indian achieved this feat during the ongoing innings for Royal Challengers Bangalore in Game 20 of IPL 2017 against Gujarat Lions on Tuesday. First Debutant to take a Hat trick in the IPL Andrew Tye-2017

AJ.Tye of Gujarat Lions became the first debutant to claim a hat trick against Rising Pune Supergiant on 14th April 2017.He claimed the wickets of Rahul Tripathi, Ben Stokes, Manoj Tiwary, Ankit Sharma & Shardul Thakur. He would have finished with 6 wickets, had Jadeja not dropped the catch off Rahul Desraj Chahar. In the end he finished with figures of 5-17. Second Youngest Player to Score a century in IPL-Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson became the second youngest player to score a century in IPL. He scored 102 runs of 63 balls against Rising Pune Supergiant.
