Titas Sadhu claimed figures of 3/6 as India Women clinched their gold medal at the ongoing 2023 Asian Games final in Hangzhou, China by beating Sri Lanka Women by 19 runs on Monday.

Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur took over the reins after serving a three match ban. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, India Women lost Shafali Varma in the fourth over to Sugandika Kumari for 9.

The pair of Hasini Perera and Nilakshi de Silva put on 36 runs for the fourth wicket stand before the former perished to Rajeshwari Gayakwad for 25.

The Indian Women bowlers put a squeeze on the Lankan middle and lower order as they finished at 97/8 in their allotted 20 overs.
