Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan took the first hat trick of IPL 2023 today (April 9, 2023) against the Kolkata Knight Riders in Ahmedabad.
Rashid had gone 3-0-35-1 prior to his fourth over- the 17th of the innings, and he picked up Andre Russell (16.1), Sunil Narine (16.2) and Shardul Thakur (16.3) to register the first ever hat trick of this 2023 Indian Premier League season.
