India have announced their squad for the final two Tests against England on Wednesday. The squad more or less remains the same.
Shardul Thakur has been left out of the India’s squad for the third and fourth Test against England and will be replaced by Umesh Yadav.
Yadav’s last outing was against Australia in December 2020, before he suffered a calf injury.
KL Rahul who didn’t feature in the first two test has been declared fit and will be available for the third D/N test which is to be played in Sardar Patel Stadium from February 24, Wednesday.
Ankit Rajpoot, Avesh Khan, Sandeep Warrier, Krishnappa Gowtham and Saurabh Kumar have been named as net bowlers, while KS Bharat and Rahul Chahar have been named as standbys.
Jasprit Bumrah has been released from India’s squad ahead of the fourth Test due to personal reasons. The ace bowler will not be available for selection of the fourth Test.
