Team India after comprehensively winning the first test at Rajkot, will be looking to seal the series by winning 2-0 against West Indies in the second and final Test at Hyderabad on Friday.
The Men in Blue are expected to retain the same XI. Lokesh Rahul, who was out for a duck in the first test is likely to get another chance. Debutant Mayank Agarwal will have to wait a bit longer to get his chance.
Young 18 year old Prithvi Shaw, who had an outstanding debut by scoring his maiden test century, would be looking to continue his vein rich of form, ahead of the future tours.
Indian vice captain Ajinkya Rahane form will be a major concern. Though he made 41 runs in the first innings, he appeared to be a bit scratchy.
Indian pace attack comprising of Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav and their spin twins, who had a good outing, would like to continue their good work ahead of the test series against Australia to be held in December.
Shardul Thakur is likely to make his test debut.
Windies would be hoping to put up a fight, unlike in the first test where they barely managed to bat close to 100 overs in both innings put together.
Barring Kieran Powell and Roston Chase, none of their other batsman have looked comfortable at the wicket.
The visitors would be bolstered by the return of their ace bowler Kemar Roach, who missed the first test. Captain Jason Holder is likely to be fit for the second test.
