Ramesh Powar, the former Indian off spinner has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian Women’s cricket team until the T-20 World Cup.
Powar was named the interim coach of the women’s team in July following the sacking of Tushar Arothe.
The right arm spinner’s assignments include the tour to Sri Lanka in September, a bilateral series in West Indies in October followed by World T20 in West Indies in November.
