England Women Test Squad for Ashes vs Australia June- July 2023
England Women have named their 15 members squad for the upcoming Ashes Test match against Australia at Trent Bridge beginning later this month.
The team will be captained by Heather Knight with Natalie Sciver-Brunt being named her deputy. The likes of Danielle Gibson and Lauren Filer received their maiden test call up.
The series features one test, three T20 internationals and three ODIs.
The one off test will be played from June 22-26. The three T20 internationals will be played between 1-8 July, while the three ODI’s will take place from July 12-18 respectively.

First ever hat trick in WPL- Issy Wong vs UP Warriorz in 2023 Eliminator for Mumbai Indians Women’s Premier League
Issy Wong of Mumbai Indians Women created history by taking the first ever hat trick in the history of the WPL (Women’s Premier League) against UP Warriorz on 24 March, 2023 at the DY Patil Stadium in Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
Wong took the wickets of Kiran Navgire (12.2), Simran Shaikh (12.3) and Sophie Ecclestone (12.4) for her hat trick in the 13th over of the eliminator game between these two sides.
Navgire was caught by Nat Sciver while Shaikh and Ecclestone were both bowled by Wong in her hat trick.
