A very good crowd of 37,731 was officially announced in Hyderabad today for the Sunrisers vs Rajasthan Royals IPL game on April 2, 2023. The fixture was SRH’s first home one of the new Indian Premier League season. Rajasthan won the game by 72 runs, primarily due to Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s blistering powerplay start (85 runs in the first six overs) and Trent Boult’s excellent bowling upfront (he got both Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi in the first over).
