India vs England Third ODI Match Preview-2018

India after suffering a mauling in the hands of England in the second one day international, will be aiming to clinch a series win with a victory in the third and final ODI at Headingly in Leeds on Tuesday.

The three match ODI series is currently tied 1-1 after both teams have won a game each.

Kohli’s men suffered a setback in the second ODI where they lost to hosts by 86 runs at Lords.

India will be relying on their top order batsmen consisting of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and skipper Virat Kohli, who has looked in fine nick in the series to get their side back on winning ways.

Meanwhile, the team’s major concern will be the form of former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni who appeared a bit scratchy in the second ODI.

They will be hoping he comes up with a knock in the final one day international.

While the spin duo of Chahal and Kuldeep among wickets, their pace bowlers barring Hardik Pandya have failed to get among wickets column.

England will be high on confidence after their morale boosting victory in the previous international and will be will be looking to continue their momentum.

England’s second ODI centurion Joe Root, who scored a hundred would be hoping to continue his form in the last encounter. Their openers along with skipper Eoin Morgan will be hoping for a good start.

The England bowling spearheaded by pacer Liam Plunkett will be the key to provide early wickets and put the visitors under pressure.

In the spin department, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid will looking to provide breaks on the formidable Indian batting line up to help their side clinch the ODI series victory, after their loss in the T-20’s.
