The official 2026 T20 World Cup team of the tournament has been announced. Hosts and eventual winners India dominate the XI with four players, including MOTM of the final Jasprit Bumrah and POTT Sanju Samson. Ishan Kishan & all-rounder Hardik Pandya were the other Indians named in the TOTW.
Losing semi-finalists South Africa and England had two representatives each- the Proteas had skipper Aiden Markram and pacer Lungi Ngidi, while England had all-rounder Will Jacks and leggie Adil Rashid.
Three other teams who were eliminated in the Super 8- Pakistan (Farhan), West Indies (Holder) and Zimbabwe (Muzarabani) had one representative each.
Interestingly, despite being runners up, there was no NZ Black Caps player in the 2026 T20 World Cup team of the tournament.
