Here is the World Test Championship table- the WTC standings after the India v Bangladesh and Sri Lanka v New Zealand first tests. Both matches were won by the home team.
India and Australia are in the top 2 positions currently and Sri Lanka have risen to third after beating the Black Caps in Galle.
India comfortably beat Bangladesh in the first test in Chennai and will again be strong favourites ahead of the second test in Kanpur.
As it stands, India and Australia remain firm favourites to reach the WTC final, but there’s a chance for some of the other teams with their scheduling- most notably South Africa.
