The Men in Blue will begin their Super 8 fixtures against Afghanistan on June 20 at the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.
India are placed in Group 1 alongside Afghanistan, Australia & Bangladesh. The top 2 teams from each will make it to the semifinal.

The ongoing 2024 T20 World Cup will have a Super 8 stage consisting of two groups
Group 1 Super 8 T20 WC 2024: A1, B2, C1, D2
Group 2 Super 8 T20 WC 2024: A2, B1, C2, D!
But here is the interesting thing- the teams were pre-seeded going into the World Cup. India for example are A1, and Australia are B2, and India and Australia will be in the same Super 8 group as long as they qualify- it doesn’t matter whether they actually finish first or second in their respective groups.

Jasprit Bumrah claimed figures of 3/14 in front of 34,028 crowd as The Men in Blue registered a thrilling 6 run win over arch rivals Pakistan at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

Keshav Maharaj claimed figures of 3/27 in front of 22,658 crowd as South Africa beat Bangladesh by 4 runs in a thriller at the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 on Monday.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, South Africa were reduced to 23/4, as Tanzim Hasan Sakib claimed figures of 3/18.
The pair of Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller put on 79 runs for the fifth wicket stand before the former perished to Taskin Ahmed for a valuable 44.
In the end Proteas finished at 113/6 in their 20 overs.
Chasing 114, Bangladesh got off to a shaky start as they were reduced to 50/4. However the pair of Towhid Hridoy and Mahmudullah stitched together a valuable 44 run stand for the fifth wicket stand before the former perished to Kagiso Rabada for 37.
The Tigers lost a bit of momentum in the final stages as they slumped to 108/7.
With 11 needed off the final over, Keshav Maharaj held his nerve to give the Proteas a 4 run win.
