Kagiso Rabada claimed figures of 5/44 as South Africa dominated Day 1 by restricting India to 208/8 at the opening day of the first test at Super Sport Park in Centurion on Tuesday.

After being asked to bat first India lost skipper Rohit Sharma (5) early, hooking a short ball from Kagiso Rabada to Nandre Burger at long leg.

Rahul featured in yet another handy stand of 27 runs for the eight wicket alongside Jasprit Bumrah before the latter dragged a delivery from Marco Jansen onto his stumps for 1.
