Sri Lanka have announced their 15 member squad for the upcoming Cricket World Cup 2023 scheduled to be held in India later next month.
The team will be captained by Dasun Shanaka with Kusal Mendis being named his deputy. They have the likes of Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Janith, Dimuth Karunaratna and Charith Asalanka in their squad.
Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera have been ruled out due to injuries.
Chamika Karunaratne have been named as reserve player. The Lankans will start their campaign against South Africa on October 7 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
They will also have 2 warm up fixtures against Bangladesh and Afghanistan on September 29 & October 3.

Lahiru Kumara has been ruled out off the World Cup due to injury and will be replaced by Dushmantha Chameera.
