Cricket South Africa have announced their 15 member squad for the upcoming World Cup 2023 beginning next month.
The team will be captained by Temba Bavuma. The likes of Dewald Brevis and Tristan Stubbs have been axed from the event.
The pace attack comprises off Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi, Marco Jansen, Sisanda Magala and Gerald Coetzee.
Wicket keeper Quinton de Kock has announced his retirement from one day cricket after the World Cup. The Proteas finished in the seventh position in the 2019 World Cup.
Bavuma’s Men will open their campaign against Sri Lanka on October 7 in Delhi.

On September 20, fast bowlers Anrich Nortje and Sisanda Magala have been ruled out of the event due to injuries and will be replaced by Andile Phehlukwayo and Lizaad Williams.
