England have announced their 15 member squad for the upcoming World Cup 2023 scheduled to be held in India in October – November.
The team will be lead by Jos Buttler and have the likes of Sam Curran, Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow and Mark Wood in their squad.
Uncapped player Gus Atkinson has been picked for the marquee event. Harry Brook and Jofra Archer have been axed from the team.
All rounder Ben Stokes, who took retirement from the one dayers last year, returns to the team. The English side will begin their campaign against New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 5 October.
