The BCCI has named the Indian Women’s squad for the 19th edition of the Asian Games scheduled to take place from September 19 to 28.
The team will be captained by Harmanpreet Kaur with left hander Smriti Mandhana being named as her deputy. They have the likes of young Shafali Verma and Jemimah Rodrigues in their line ups.
Wicket keeper Richa Gosh who missed out of the tour to Bangladesh makes a comeback to 15 member squad. Fast bowler Titas Sadhu and allrounder Kanika Ahuja have received their maiden call-ups.

Pooja Vastrakar has been added to the squad in place of Anjali Sarvani who has been ruled out due to injury.
The likes of Harleen Deol, Kashvee Gautam, Sneh Rana, Saika Ishaque & Pooja Vastrakar have been named as standby players.
