The BCCI has named the squad for the upcoming two test matches against West Indies starting later next month.
Veteran batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has been axed from the squad. The team will be lead by Rohit Sharma with Ajinkya Rahane being named his deputy.
The likes of Yashasvi Jaishwal and Mukesh Kumar have received their maiden test call up. KS Bharat and Ishan Kishan have been picked as wicketkeepers for the Caribbean series.
The tour comprises off 2 tests. The first test will be played in Dominica from July 12, while the second test will be played at Port of Spain on July 20.
