Tim David fell for a golden duck, chipping a catch to Maxwell at long-off. Wadhera then finished the game in style by smashing Harshal Patel for a maximum over the covers, as Mumbai reached in target in just 16.3 overs.

With this victory MI jumped to third position in the points table.
