The selectors have announced the squad for the first two test matches against Australia starting next month.
The likes of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan have received their maiden test call up. All rounder Ravindra Jadeja makes a come back to the squad after but his availability will be subject to fitness.
Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah who has been out of action to a back injury, doesn’t feature in the squad for the first two Tests.
The fast bowling attack comprises of Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav and Jaydev Unadkat. The first Test between India and Australia will be played on February 9 in Nagpur.

Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the first test against Australia due to back injury.

India have retained the same squad for the third and the fourth test against Australia to be played in Indore & Ahmedabad on March 1 & 9 respectively.
Jaydev Unadkat, who was released from the second test to play for the Ranji Trophy final, returns to the squad.
