Chasing 91, openers Rohit Sharma along with KL Rahul got India off to a quickfire start. The duo added 39 runs for the opening wicket before Adam Zampa drew first blood by dismissing Rahul for 10.
Former skipper Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav fell in successive deliveries off Zampa, leaving the hosts in a spot of bother at 55/3.

With this win, The Men in Blue levelled the three match series 1-1. The third and final T20I will be played at Hyderabad on Sunday.
