Rishabh Pant top scored with a fine 44 as India beat West Indies by 59 runs to take a 3-1 lead in the five match series in Lauderhill, Florida on Saturday.
After being sent into bat, Skipper Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav got India off to a blazing start,. The pair added 53 in just 4.4 overs before the former (33) was cleaned up by Akeal Hosein while going for another boundary.
Alzarri Joseph then got into the act by trapping Suryakumar Yadav right in front of the stumps for 24.
The pair of Rishabh Pant along with Deepak Hooda featured in a 47 run stand for the third wicket before the latter miscued a delivery from Joseph to King at cover.
Pant looked good in his knock of 44, before he skied one to Drakes at long on off McCoy.
Left arm spinner Axar Patel provided a late flourish by scoring a quickfire 8 ball-20 to take India to 191/5 in their allotted 20 overs.
For West Indies, Obed McCoy was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/29.
Chasing 192, openers Kyle Mayers and Brandon King got West Indies off to a confident by taking on Bhuvneshwar Kumar for 14 runs in the opening over.
However Avesh Khan provided the breakthrough for India, by dismissing King (13) caught and bowled with a leg-cutter.
Avesh claimed his second wicket when Devon Thomas who was promoted at No 3, sliced one to Deepak Hooda at mid off.
Skipper Nicholas Pooran started aggressively by smashing Axar Patel for three sixes and a boundary. However he was run following a horrible mix up with Mayers for a 8 ball-24.
Axar then dismissed both Mayers and Rovman Powell as the hosts lost half their side for 82.
Arshdeep Singh then dented West Indies hopes when he had Jason Holder (13) caught at deep point by Sanju Samson.
Ravi Bishnoi then dismissed Akeal Hosein (3), who lofted a catch to Suryakumar Yadav at long-on. Shimron Hetmyer who smashed leg spinner Bishnoi for a four and six off consecutive deliveries was bowled by a slider that skid through after pitching.
Arshdeep Singh then dismissed both Dominic Drakes (5) and Obed McCoy (2) with a superb yorkers as West Indies were bowled out for 132 in 19.1 overs.
For India, Arshdeep Singh was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/12, while Avesh, Axar and Bishnoi claimed 2 wickets each.
Avesh Khan was declared the Man of the Match for his impressive spell.
