South Africa Women squad for Commonwealth Games 2022
Cricket South Africa announced the South Africa Women Squad for the upcoming edition of Commonwealth Games 2022 beginning 29 July in Birmingham.
Skipper Dane van Niekerk will miss the tournament due to ankle injury. Sune Luus will be leading the side in the absence of Van Niekerk, while Chloe Tryon will be her deputy.
The South Africa Women have the likes of Mignon Du Preez, Marizanne Kapp, Sinalo Jafta, Laura Wolvaardt and Masabata Klaas in their T20I set up.

India vs England Second ODI Lords Match Report 2022
Reece Topley claimed figures of 6/24 as England defeated India by 100 runs in the second one day international at Lords to level the series 1-1.
After being put into bat by Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, openers Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow got England off to a solid start. The pair added 41 runs for the opening wicket before the former flicked a Hardik Pandya delivery to Suryakumar Yadav at deep backward square leg for 23.
Bairstow looked good in his innings of 38 before being bowled by Yuzvendra Chahal while attempting a slog sweep. The leg-spinner also dismissed Joe Root (11), leg before wicket with a tossed-up delivery as the batter missed his sweep.
Mohammed Shami then dismissed Jos Buttler bowled, while trying to flick an inswinger for 4. Ben Stokes (21) looked promising in his short stay before perishing to Chahal leg before wicket, while attempting an reverse sweep as the hosts lost half their side for 102.
The pair of Liam Livingstone and Moeen Ali put on 46 runs for the sixth wicket before the former miscued a pull to substitute fielder Shreyas Iyer at deep square leg off Pandya for 33.
Ali featured in yet another valuable stand of 62 runs for the seventh wicket along with David Willey before the former was caught at deep square leg by Ravindra Jadeja off Chahal for a fine 47.
Jasprit Bumrah wrapped up the innings by cleaning up Topley for 3 as the hosts were bowled out for 246 in 49 overs.
Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick of the bowlers for India with figures of 4/47, while Bumrah and Hardik Pandya claimed 2 wickets each.
Chasing 247, Topley got England off to a fine start by dismissing both Rohit Sharma (0) and Shikhar Dhawan (9) early.
Wicket keeper Rishabh Pant fell for a duck, chipping a full toss from Brydon Carse to substitute fielder Phil Salt at mid on.
Virat Kohli, who returned to the playing XI after missing the first ODI, looked in fine touch but perished while chasing a wide delivery from David Willey to wicket keeper Jos Buttler behind the stumps.
Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya resurrected the innings with a solid 42 run stand for the fifth wicket before the former (27) dragged a length delivery from Topley onto his stumps, leaving the visitors in trouble at 73/5.
Ali then claimed the prized scalp of all rounder Hardik Pandya, caught at deep midwicket boundary by Liam Livingstone for 29.
Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami kept the visitors in the hunt with a 39 run stand for the seventh wicket before he latter miscued a slower full toss from Topley to Ben Stokes at mid-on.
Livingstone dented India’s hopes by dismissing Ravindra Jadeja (29) bowled, while trying to flick across the line.
Topley then polished off the tail by dismissing Chahal (3) and Prasidh Krishna (0), as India were bowled out for 146 in 38.5 overs.

India T20I Squad for West Indies Series Announced- Kuldeep Yadav & Ravi Ashwin back
The BCCI on Thursday announced India’s 18 man squad for the upcoming five T20 internationals in Caribbean starting this month.
The likes of Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah & Yuzvendra Chahal have been rested for the series. All rounder Hardik Pandya and wicket keeper Rishabh Pant who were been given a break from the one dayers, will feature in the T20Is.
The first T20I will be played in Tarouba, Trinidad on July 29. The second and third T20Is will be played in Basseterre on August 1 and 2, while the fourth and final T20 international will be played in Florida, the USA on August 6 and 7 respectively.

Middlesex sign in Indian Pacer Umesh Yadav For Remainder Of 2022 County Season
Middlesex have signed in Indian seamer Umesh Yadav for the remainder of the 2022 county season in place of left arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi who returned home to prepare for Pakistan’s two-Test tour of Sri Lanka.
