Srikar Bharat and Glenn Maxwell scored respective half centuries as Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Delhi Capitals by seven wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.
After being asked to bat first by RCB skipper, Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan got Delhi off to a quickfire start.
The pair added 88 runs for the opening stand before Harshal Patel broke the stand by dismissing Dhawan for 43.
Yuzvendra Chahal then got into the act by dismissing Shaw perished caught at sweeper cover, with George Garton taking a juggling catch.
Rishabh Pant (10) edged a Dan Christian delivery to Bharat behind the stumps. Shimron Hetmyer in the end scored a valuable 29 off 22 deliveries to take Delhi to 164/5 in 20 overs.

However Bharat along with Maxwell featured in an unbeaten 111-run stand for the fourth wicket to take their side to a stunning win.
With 15 required off 6 balls, the Australian all rounder smashed Avesh Khan for a boundary. Six off one became 5 as Avesh bowled a wide ball. The 28 year old Bharat then dispatched a high full toss for a six as RCB pulled off a brilliant victory.
Srikar Bharat was declared the Man of the Match for his swashbuckling knock.
