Leg spinner Amit Mishra claimed 4/24 as Delhi Capitals beat Mumbai Indians by 6 wickets in Chennai on Tuesday.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Mumbai Indians lost Quinton De Kock early, who edged a Marcus Stoinis delivery to Rishabh Pant in the third over.
Rohit Sharma along with Suryakumar Yadav added 58 runs for the second wicket before the latter fell to Avesh Khan for 24.
Mishra brought Delhi back into the contest by claiming three wickets in the middle stages. In addition to skipper Rohit Sharma, he also picked up both dangerous hitters in Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya as the visitors slumped to 84/6.
Lalit Yadav claimed his maiden wicket when the left hander Krunal chopped one onto his stumps. Ishan Kishan (26) and Jayant Yadav (23) led the fightback with a valuable 39 run stand for the seventh wicket as Mumbai Indians ended up with a below par score of 137/9 at the end of their allotted 20 overs.

Chasing 138, Shikhar Dhawan had a lucky escape when a leading edge almost carried to Hardik Pandya at short cover off Trent Boult.
Prithvi Shaw fell early as he chipped a return catch to Jayant Yadav. Dhawan and Steve Smith resurrected the innings with a 53 run stand for the second wicket before Kieron Pollard provided the breakthrough by trapping Smith leg before wicket for 33.
With DC needing 48 runs from the last six overs, the left hander smashed a six and four to bring up the 100 before perishing to Rahul Chahar with Krunal Pandya taking a fine diving catch in the deep for a well made 45.
Skipper Rishabh Pant failed to stay till the end, as he miscued a Jasprit Bumrah slower ball to fine leg. Lalit Yadav and Shimron Hetmyer held their nerves as Delhi reached the target of 138 with 5 balls to spare.
