Pakistan T20 Squad for England Series Announced

Pakistan on Friday announced a 17 man squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against England. The fixture comprises of three T20Is which would be played from August 28 to September 1 at Old Trafford in Manchester.

The team will be captained by star batsman Babar Azam. The T20I squad includes Pakistan U-19 star Haider Ali, who has performed excellently in domestic circuit as well as in the Pakistan Super League. The experience duo of Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz also make a comeback to the squad.

The 17 year old young sensation Naseem Shah who is currently featuring in the test series against England has been given a chance to prove his mantle in the shortest format.

After losing the captaincy last year former Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed returns to the squad.

Veteran’s Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez, who were part of the Bangladesh series in January have been retained.
