Jasprit Bumrah produced a brilliant spell with the ball, as Mumbai Indians reached the finals by defeating the Delhi Capitals by 57 runs in the Qualifier 1 at the Dubai International Stadium on Thursday.

Mumbai included Hardik Pandya, Bumrah and Trent Boult in place of Saurabh Tiwary, James Pattinson and Dhawal Kulkarni, while Delhi went with an unchanged XI.

Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad 3 November Match Report 2020

Skipper David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha scored respective half centuries, as Sunrisers Hyderabad thrashed the Mumbai Indians by 10 wickets at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

MI rested key bowlers Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah and included James Pattinson and Dhaval Kulkarni. Rohit Sharma after sitting out for four games replaced Jayant Yadav, while for SRH Priyam Garg came in place of Abhishek Sharma.

After being sent in by Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians suffered an early jolt as they lost skipper Rohit to Sandeep Sharma for 4.

Quinton de Kock attacked the SRH bowlers before he chopped a Sandeep Sharma delivery onto his stumps for a quickfire 25.

Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan anchored the innings with a 42 run stand for the third wicket, before the former was stumped by Saha off Shahbaz Nadeem.

MI suffered a mini-collapse as Krunal Pandya and Saurabh Tiwary fell quickly, as the defending champions were tottering at 82/5.

Kieron Pollard held fort at one end and smashed T Natarajan for three consecutive sixes to help Mumbai reach a competitive total of 149/8 at the end of 20 overs.

Sandeep Sharma was Sunrisers best bowler with figures of 3/34, while Jason Holder and Nadeem claimed 2 wickets each.

Chasing 150, the opening duo of David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha added an unbeaten 151 run stand as Sunrisers Hyderabad made to the playoffs by defeating the Mumbai Indians by 10 wickets and with 17 balls to spare.

Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals 25 October Match Report 2020

Ben Stokes scored a fantastic unbeaten 107, as Rajasthan Royals thumped the Mumbai Indians by 8 wickets in Abu Dhabi to keep their play off hopes alive on Sunday.

Mumbai Indians included James Pattinson for Nathan Coulter-Nile, while Rajasthan went in with an unchanged line up.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Mumbai Indians were rocked as Quinton De Kock chopped a Jofra Archer ball on to his stumps.

Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan added 83 runs for the second wicket, before the latter fell to Kartik Tyagi, with Archer taking a stunning one handed catch at the boundary.

Mumbai were deal with further blows as the well set Yadav and skipper Pollard fell in quick succession to Kieron Pollard.

A dropped catch from Rahul Tewatia when Hardik Pandya was on 5 proved to be very costly for the Royals as the MI all rounder made them pay by taking Ankit Rajpoot and Tyagi to the cleaners.

Pandya finished on 60 *off 21, as Mumbai posted an imposing 195/6 at the end of their 20 overs.

Chasing 196, Rajasthan opener Robin Uthappa was dismissed for just 3, caught at mid on by Pollard off the bowling of James Pattinson.

The Australian pacer also accounted for compatriot Steve Smith to leave the Royals at 44/2.

The pair of Sanju Samson and Ben Stokes took the attack to the bowlers, smashing them to all parts of the ground, as they added an unbeaten 152 run stand to take Rajasthan Royals to a comprehensive 8 wicket win.

They were particular harsh on spinner Rahul Chahar who went for 36 runs in 3 overs and even the re introduction of Jasprit Bumrah didn’t help Mumbai, as Rajasthan reached home with 10 balls to spare.

England all rounder Stokes remained unbeaten on 107, while Kerala batsman Samson was not out on 54.

With this win, Rajasthan Royals are now at 6th place with 10 points.
